As a member, your organization's basic information will be listed on our website allowing better communications with all of your contacts. Our monthly newsletter, mentoring by a Certified Rescue Organization, and other rescue support services under development are some of the many benefits that you will enjoy.

All animal rescue organizations that read and agree wtih our Code of Ethics are eligible to become members. Annual membership fee is only $25 to encourage participation.

CERTIFICATION

CERTIFICATION APPLICATION & FEE SCHEDULE

With full certification your rescue organization will be recognized as providing services of the highest quality. You will be role models for new or "young" rescue organizations and may be involved in our mentoring programs. In addition, shelters and veterinarians will work with you in a more streamlined manner.

• Certified Members earn the prestigious title of "C.R.O" (Certified Rescue Organization) and the Animal Rescue Association of America's "Certified" designation prominently displayed in our Rescue Listings area.
  
  
• Certified Members may proudly display the Animal Rescue Association of America's symbol of Certification on their website and printed materials.
  
  
• Certified Members will have a comprehensive listing in our "Rescue Listings" area and link to their organization's web site.
  
  

Our certification process will evaluate the rescue operations to ensure compliance with the Animal Rescue Code of Ethics. Our evaluation is designed to be rigorous yet not highly intrusive. Details of our evaluation processes are included in the Certification Package. The certification fee is based on the size of the rescue organization and ranges from $100 to $500 for initial certification, ½ that amount thereafter for the annual renewal.
